terrible den! dirty, the bed hasn't been changed and there are other people's hair in it! there is no breakfast! There are no towels in the room! the ceilings are very low, the windows are broken, there is a lot of dirt and dust, the floors are dirty, the bed is dirty! The shower is dirty, the toilet is dirty! The administrator is never there! Horrible, I don’t recommend this place, worse than a dump! There is a lot of dust and dirt on the bed where you sleep on the backs! They never clean up here! people apparently have no hands. The only products included are crackers with moths and cockroaches
Horrible place, bed bug bites all over and my best friend got scabies from this place. Avoid like the plague!nnNo towel, dirty place, waking up with ants all over our beds. Unless you like dirty bowls for breakfast then have a lovely stay.
The original room we were put in had bed bugs. There were also a lot of spiders in the room and the bathroom was not very clean. We were able to move to a different room after speaking to staff which was better but still not very clean. The outside area smelt strongly of weed all night. Breakfast was also very disappointing, just a few containers of cereal on a bench.
Do not book this hotel. Health hazard, photos taken of our room that was full of black mould and specs of blood on the wall. We read the reviews when we turned up wrongly after saying people had booked another hotel once seeing their room. We done the same thing. This hotel is a hygiene risk and after spending 10 minutes in the room before handing the key back we could not stop coughing and spluttering from the mould.
We stayed at this place for one night, which turned out to be one night too many. Half of Waterbeach’s spider population had shown up to welcome us to our room, as well as a great amount of dust bunnies and random hairs. Spiders I can live with, but we found something even worse: BED BUGS. We told the owner who said he’d never had that happen before, but very conveniently had a bed bug repellent spray. I asked for a different room which we got. Although this luckily was free of bugs, both bed and otherwise, there was a thick layer of dust everywhere and not sure when it was last cleaned. I would pay NOT to stay here again, stay clear unless you’re an entomologist.
