Parking a little difficult as on a corner . The garden areas are lovely and one part is synthetic grass. Meals had a wonderful odour from the kitchen and looked appetising but we only stopped for a cold drink. Staff very friendly and the little dachshund saying hello to everyone too. Interior very friendly and quirky but in an old world kind of way. Well worth a visit if your passing. X
Found this by chance . What a find!! Lovely quirky old fashioned pub. Friendly staff. Fabulous food . We hadn't booked and it was busy but they were very welcoming and found a table for us. Attentive staff but not in your face. Food excellent hubby said his ham was the best he'd tasted. Good prices. Will come again. Thanks for a wonderful lunch
If you are looking for a traditional family run British pub with outstanding home cooked food and real ales then look no further. The White Horse, Exning is all the above and more. I and my wife have been regulars for ten years. Try it and enjoy.
Very welcoming, great atmosphere, food excellent. I would recommend going there. We will definitely be going again . Thank you to all the staff for making our visit so enjoyable x
Excellent food and service. The owners made you feel very welcome and a really nice atmosphere. We will definitely return in the future
Atmosphere. Quality. Service. Satisfaction. All words to describe my experience tonight. The proprietor, John, is fourth generation owner. He's constantly checking and visiting wit the patrons. Even brought us anything we needed. His wife works the kitchen, son works the front with him. This pub is well worth the visit to the British Isle alone.
What a brilliant pub, we cycled from Haddenham to have a lunch n a few beers. The locals were great n friendly, apparently I am big in Newmarket! 4 real ales all in great condition, food was excellent, pie of the day was a real pie with crust on top n bottom. We had a great afternoon, it was hard cycling back but luckily we managed a pint in The 5 miles before getting home. A bloody great British pub.
Lovely pub! Met up with relatives for lunch. Lovely food, very efficient service. Just beware of the small car park, bit of an accident when I was there. Not me!
Very friendly welcome and good service. Enjoyed a light lunch and drinks. Booked for a family get together in January.
Very friendly, family run pub, we was made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious, and our little sausage dog enjoyed her treats!
