Only just opened with a brand new refurbishment , looking good it's all been opened up and everything looks new. Love the new bathroom Food was great, however, limited options for vegans and vegetarians, it didn't help that the only one vegan main dish, Katsu curry, was off the menu as well as the celeriac soup. That left a choice of vegetarian burger or mushroom gnocchi, which was very nice. Vegetarian starters were; the soup, which wasn't on, mushrooms on toast with a porched egg or cream & goats cheese with beetroot.
Been long time since I've been to the White Horse Pub. An have to say i was rather pleasantly surprised! the pub has certainly changed in the 10yrs since I've last been. Bobbed in have a few beer & something eat with few friends. An all-around have to say we were pleased.!! The beer is good on draft.!! An there is a wide selection of food, from traditional pub classics. For those a little more adventures, a few Asian styles cuisine on offer. Don't forget to check the special board as well!! I personally had the crum coated cod. It was really good.!! . An the cheese board was perfect to finish ..
When the owner asked us here at Bolton Balloon Fairies to make her Granddaughter's 1st Birthday balloons I was so surprised when I walked in. What a fabulous place this is, a lovely place to take the family whilst having a nice relaxed meal, a real home fr9m home kinda place, the food smelt divine and I will certainly be paying a visit here real soon
The Sunday lunch was first class, food and service were 2nd to none. There were 8 adults and 2 children in our party and we couldn't fault a thing. Well done team White Horse, we will certainly be back. I have eaten there before, had the seabass - amazing!
Amazing. Couldn't fault a single thing. Staff were fantastic with the kids both 3 years old. Food was fantastic. The White Horse Burger is one of the best I've had. Everything we ate clearly had a lot of time spent on the preparation. Will definitely be back soon, probably for the peppered steak pudding. Great selection of beers on as well. I was also pleasantly surprised at the bill as well. Would have happily paid more than we did for that level of food.
Visited for a family birthday. Food was very good and the staff attentive. Menu covered most tastes.
What was great? Service by Oana and Poppy. Food wise-seabass mainnicely cooked bass and asparagus starter. What was too much? Extra potatoes cheesecake was very pretty, but a bit too much for my belly. Would definitely recommend.
Went for Christmas day, and it was amazing. The food was delicious. The service was excellent and very attentive, and the atmosphere was brilliant. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend
Five of us called for a lunch today. The food was very nice but have to give a special mention to all of the staff there today especially George,thankyou for be so helpful.
Manger was very good service with great communication and very helpful looked after me and bro after our ride out. Brilliant food and service.. will look to go back.
