Have been going on and off to this pub for the last 20 years. Wonderful to see the new landlords are making the most of the place. Good food, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Couldn’t be more different from the previous landlords.
Great little pub - very old school work good food, great beer and plenty of olde worlde charm.
The food here is amazing, the staff were also amazing, accommodated to our needs. The prices are also more than decent for the quality of food you get! Amazing !!! You need to go here if you're around! :D
Had a lovely lunch there. Covid19 spacing requirements have clearly affected the vibrancy of the restaurant. Cant wait to visit again when things are more 'normal'.
Completely the most in the middle of nowhere pub I've ever been to in my life. However, it was so worth the drive! I was in town for a wedding in Liss and I'm definitely not from the area. Not even from the UK! However when we got there it was super charming and quaint and the people were really friendly! Hidden little gem and worth it!
Just about handles this daft comedy government's covid restrictions, without ruining the good old English pub atmosphere of this truly great hostelry.
Nostalgia trip after 30 odd years! No name bitter as good as ever and the pub is still a welcoming oasis. Menu is good too.
Great place, nice to sit outside on a fine day First discovered about 35 years ago but usually pop in here on way or way back from Hi or Portsmouth for a quick drink.
Excellent place. Must visit if you are around.
Really cosy pub with large fireplaces, old wooden furniture and lots of great atmosphere. Friendly staff, and local ales. We couldn't have asked for more of an English countryside pub.
