My travel plans were delayed and I ended up coming very late . I caught the late bus and was collected after midnight and warmly greeted. My bed was excellent and the irish breakfast was huge . If I could give more stars I would .Thank you both . Helped a traveller out and went far beyond what was reasonable. Happy Christmas both. Andy
Such great value for money and the most amazing stay in beautiful surroundings. Great care and attention has been made here from friendly, attentive hosts. We shared a huge twin room with shared bathroom which had a roll top bath, shower and great views. There are many room options including for families. We attended a wedding in the area and many parties stated here with different needs. All were catered for individually. The breakfast is amazing and the views, garden and walks in the grounds and near the lake are stunning. We will definately return and look forwards to staying with Mary and Gerard again. Thankyou
Phoned 2day to check if availability for 4th Sept to which was told there was. I was then asked if I was going music festival to which I answered yes I was. Then there was some mumbling which was uncomprehendable... So I said there is availability... To which he said 'most people are staying for 2 nights for that'... I informed the man that I cannot...i was then told they are full.... How rude... No customer service skills and totally money orientated these hosts are only interested in money not offering people accommodation or suiting their needs only interested in suiting their own needs n pockets.. Everyone is not staying 2 nights!!! So discriminatory and unaccomodating disappointing unprofessional and rude.
Stay was excellent for me and my two work colleagues. Rooms were spacious and breakfast in the morning was 10/10.Rooms: 5/5
Just looking at prices for family room..260 Euro for 2 nights on 14th/15th Dec, absolutely outrageous price. This is Monaghan not New York!!
