I have always wanted to try a Carvery but somehow I never had a chance. Well today, my first time, and it was brilliant. Food are delicious and plenty, Europe style massive portions, huge variety, tasty meat and vegetarian options. Wanted to try some pudding but literally had no room left. Definitely will go back and they do take blue light card!
We enjoyed a lovely meal at this Toby Carvery, by far the best I have been to. I spoke to the manager on the way out and asked the names of the chefs, Mikey and Tom, they were really polite and friendly and clearly enjoying interaction with the customers. Thank you for a lovely meal!
What a fabulous place to go for a meal. They are known for their roast dinner. You can literally eat and refill your plate as many times as you like! Friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended
The food was great, really tasty and lots of main options for someone with an intolerance. We ate so much veg and potatoes, so tasty! Heatproof serving spoon handles would be helpful.nThe deserts were not good though, with the only choice for me being a dry apple pie, so we didn't stay for that. Vegan ice cream is so easy to source now. I'm also sad dairy is in the Yorkshire puddings, but I get that it's a standard ingredient.nnThe restaurant itself, our server was lovely and clearly very busy. It would be nice as it was a hot day for water to already be on the table. And the restaurant was HOT. The serving area had air con, but where we were seated, we were all sweating. It made it very hard to stay longer, and the ice machine was broken. Please do something about this! Ice water from the bar for the table automatically would have been helpful.
We had a lovely meal in the London Road Toby. The service was excellent the chef was really cheerful and our waiter Kieran was amazing…not just to us I observed him treating everyone with respect and kindness he is a credit to your team! My mum said he is our hero of the night.
