Nothing was too much trouble - the evening team were friendly and helpful and coped easily with a large party turning up unannounced. I decided to stay the night in one of the old and charming rooms- this is a building circa 1600 so lots of character.nKay and Harrison looked after me Exceptionally at breakfast and even as the last diner was made welcome and afforded every care and attention.nTop marks all round - highly recommend
Booked last minute due to over running building works, what a great find. What stood out from start to finish was the great attitude all the staff have . The food was really good and well presented . The place had great atmosphere , one we will be back to .
Visited to watch a band. Good vibe and atmosphere. Have been before and wasn't particularly impressed. New managers seem to be making an effort. So, if you've been before and weren't impressed, maybe give it another go.
Such an amazing hotel and restaurant. From the moment I arrived at the White Heart I was made to feel very welcome, the reception area was very presentable and the checkin was easy. I travelled with my two dogs who were made to feel welcome and the all the staff throughout my time were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless clean with white fluffy towels and a very comfortable bed. After a very delicious meal in the restaurant with plenty on my plate, the bar staff were very friendly and welcoming and I had a pleasant undisturbed nights sleep. The next morning I enjoyed a very tasty cooked breakfast with plenty of fresh continental food and coffee.nThank you for an amazing time and we shall return soon.
What a lovely welcome, everyone was so friendly; didn’t mention I was bringing two dogs but they were made super welcome too; there was even a special dog menu including pawsecco. Great safe and free car park, super location and wonderful quirky room; it’s a very old building so lots of leaning walls and sloping floors, all added to the experience. Breakfast was huge and delicious and the place was spotless.nI’m a solo female traveller and felt safe and content here
