A good pub in the centre of Halesworth. Friendly and helpful staff. The food was good with a reasonable menu choice to go from. Specials of the day on the board.
10/10 experience for my partner and I. Breakfast was cooked to perfection, eggs were beautifully done and the portion sizes were so large I could barely finish it myself. Being a tourist, I would definitely recommend this pub for an authentic English meal with kind, diligent service and a calm and warm atmosphere. Highly recommend :
Eat here regularly. Always lovely, freshly prepared food. Good choice and specials available as well. Reasonable pub prices about £12-19 per meal snacks and light menu also available. Plus there is a loyalty programme...bonus!
Received a warm welcome from the attentive and polite team, food was amazing - so good we returned the following day.
A firm favourite for us . Coming to Halesworth and to this pub 3 to 4 times a year for past 30years . Dog friendly, welcoming and a reasonably priced pint. Menu has been updated....not sure if they have a new Spanish chef , but it was delicious and well presented. Plus the kids menu for the under 12s was fantastic value and choice. If you just want somewhere to have a pint and read your paper or a full on meal with the kids and the dog this is the place.
