Gorgeous country modern pub/restaurant! Wonderful service, every member of staff was really friendly. The chefs cooked the most delicious food Steak was cooked to perfection for me, and the half chicken was also delicious! I only wish we weren’t too full up, as the deserts that were coming out looked amazing too!
Perfect pub. Busy, so obviously popular with the locals too. Good range of drinks, delicious food - best steak my partner has eaten in years and the vegan food was amazing. Sofa by the log fire made it the place to beService: 5/5
Our first day picking up the keys for our new house and recommended by the estate agent to pop into the White Hart for lunch. I mean, Somerton is already a pretty quintessential and stunning town, but this pub is nothing but a complement to that. Good food, friendly service and a variety of spots to sit depending if you are with little ones like we were or having a grown up boozy brunch.
Stayed for one night visiting friends in the area: lovely atmosphere and friendly but efficient staff; our room was warm and comfortable with a large, spotless bathroom; breakfast bacon butty served in wonderful sourdough. Highly recommended!Rooms: 5/5
We’ve been here four or five times this year and each time it is sublime. Great staff, amazing food. Had a hiccup once but we are all human. I think this is my favourite local restaurant right now. Well done guys x
We were delighted by the warm welcome at the White Hart for our sizeable family party. The staff were lovely, and so accommodating of small children/some late arrivals. The food was delicious, and our table was perfect for our requirements. Thank you!
I loved staying at The White Hart, the check in process was easy, staff were on hand to help with any queries and even changed my booking as per my needs. They were also reasonably priced and I ended up extending my stay by an extra 3 days.
This was the worst meal Ive ever been dished up, leave alone an xmas lunch which cost £95 00 per person...rubbish meat We thought the turkey was reconstituted meat a great slab of unappealing looking impossible to cut and impossible to chew....vedgetables that were undercooked cold and unappealing...and very bad mannered waitress. Not a place to be revisited no matter what the price.
It was the day befor easter when me and my friends went to this pub. We arived and i was straight away we were served and taken to our table the staff were very friendly but our food was good but in my friends chicken and chips were some black dots. My susage was ok but chewy.Rooms: 2/5
been going the White Hart for a few years and its always been "ok" .... the food was always average to bad, generally speaking. Just had the best pub meal we have ever had in a Somerset pub - EVER! Jack the chef created amazing food and deserts to die for - I really hope this trend continues and we will be back for more in the very near future and 10/10 from me.
