We are a small, friendly, family run country pub based in Ufton in the heart of Warwickshire offering traditional pub food and local ales.

Story

The pub dates back to the 14th century offering a wealth of history and character as well as breathtaking views! It is situated near to Ufton nature reserve and as such offers a variety of beautiful walks around the pub and the surrounding areas.

Excellent place! They are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. I go there almost every week and have tried lots of other places in the area. This is the best!

This place is over rated! We went in for a main meal a few weeks ago as it was shown as a Wetherspoon Inn on Google (but it was not!). I am giving it only TWO stars, for the following reasons- 1. NO ATMOSPHERE; 2. STAFF LISTENING TO PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS; 3. STAFF CLEANING OUT OPEN FIRE GRATE NEXT TO TABLE WHERE WE WERE STILL EATING; 4. STAFF CLEARING TABLE AS SOON AS WE HAD PUT CUTLERY DOWN; 5. A FEELING AS IF WE HAD OUTSTAYED OUR WELCOME ALTHOUGH THERE WAS 20 MINS TO GO BEFORE THEY CLOSED AT 3 PM; 4. FELT VERY AWKWARD THROUGHOUT. Be advised, this place is probably not what you had expected! We will not be returning.

Nice little pub. Food is really good, with good choices for vegetarians. Due to it being out in the sticks and on top of a hill, it has some amazing views especially from the beer garden. Be mindful that it has some interesting opening and food times, especially for lunch services.

Cosy hideaway with friendly staff and excellent food. Fabulous view from beer garden too. Definitely on favourites list!
