I’m not a boat owner but all seems ok from the outside. Not sure of service delivery or amenities so a user would have to comment.
Nice part of the Leeds to Liverpool canal, I enjoy going for a walk along the canal footpath it's nice to see all the colurefull boats moored up.
We recently moored for a week at White Bear Marina. It is a lovely, friendly marina with good, well maintained facilities. Manager Emmaline went the extra mile to find us a berth, welcomed us and showed us around when we arrived. It was reasonably priced for the short stay with water, electricity, Elsan and laundry included and available on site. The marina is convenient for the town, shops and local facilities. We were able to organise a hire car and a food shop delivery and there is a great cafe on site that does excellent bacon and sausage baps. Thank you for accommodating us and making our stay so comfortable.
Since mooring here and becoming a resident I can't recommend this place enough! The area is lovely, with good, clean facilities and the staff are so helpful and amazing it's unreal. Emmaline, Craig and the rest of the team will always do what they can, when they can and I cant thank them enough!
Very nice place to relax and do fishing
Staff are nice and friendly and it's great place to top up your fuel and water tank empty your toilet and use cafe.
We needed a temporary mooring and are so pleased we found White Bear Marina. Communication was great and when we arrived we received a very warm welcome. The marina is well maintained and has all the facilities we wanted in a good location. Highly recommended and we will certainly come back again. Thank you to Elaine and Emmalene for making us feel valued customers.
Nice quiet Marina well situated near local facilities. Easy access along the Leeds Liverpool canal to Wigan locks and towards the Bridgewater Canal and Liverpool, and in the other direction a long way up the canal through to Skipton and Leeds.
Beautiful wee marina we stumbled across whilst in the area, had a wander round and a nice coffee in the sun. Friendly staff who liked tattoos
Em is such a delight to deal with! Easy to deal with and Hassle free ! She lifts the weight off your shoulders and make sure you are happy ! No complaints would recommend 100%
