A beautiful place to visit. Lovely staff and the Lemon Cake was absolutely delicious. It's always a pleasure to take time out to feed the ducks too.
Great local attraction in a lovely setting. Nice cafe too, and you can sit in the gardens and watch the ducks on the river. The Silk Mill is one of the mills on the "Mill Trail" which is a great walk of up to 7 miles which follows the river and includes 5 mills.
Quiet calm lots to see and to read nice to learn more about how silk is made. Good cafe, beautiful grounds.
Low key attraction but really nice. Had lunch from the cafe by the river. Great place to go in the summer. Riverside setting perfect for a relaxed lunch. Good sandwiches and ice cream from the cafe.
beautiful mill very interesting, children and adults had activity to do and if you buy a ticket it's valid for a year so if you wanted to go everyday and sit and have lunch in a tranquil beautiful place this is the place to be. suitable for all ages and easy for disability access
We went to the annual slyvanian families day and even with the blistering heat we had a great time. All the staff were amazingly helpful and my daughter loved the characters
Stopped for a lovely cream tea. Great scones and everything felt covid aware/safe.
A very interesting mill. Very well informed guides Karen and Sharon enhanced our visit with their knowledge.
