The station is on Victoria Square next to the train station. Busses go all across Yorkshire, the coast, the moors, etc.nBusses available from Whitby to Scarborough & Robin Hoods Bay, many other locations, but you will need to check them out!
A very small but efficiently organised station. As far as I could make out Arriva ran most if not all services out of it. We travelled to Scarborough and I have to say that's quite a bus journey,well worth trying. The fares are more than reasonable compared with those of stagecoach in Hull. We were able to purchase a duo ticket where one person goes for half price. The total fare for both of us was £13 50, amazing!
Used this bus station to get the 840 Coastliner bus to York - all very clearly marked and also next door to the train station as I had used the North York Moors Railway from Pickering so was doing a bit of a circourteous route
A functional bus station close to all amenities ideal for costal buses
Bus stops could do with a good clean up. However the bus was on time which was the main thing on cold day
