I had a brilliant time at Whistle Punks Urban Axe Throwing, it was my first go at axe throwing, and I absolutely loved it. The staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to show us the ropes. Even if you've never tried it before or aren't particularly sporty, I can assure you, you'll still have a great time. It's a cracking experience and definitely worth a try!
Great place for an office evening out. We did the Bells and Whistles package for 20 people so had 2 lanes and tutors to ourselves. The package included 2 drinks each, tortillas and popcorn during the throwing, followed by pizzas to wrap up. Total time on the lane is 70 mins which includes a 10 minute safety and instruction talk. Had to chivvy colleagues up at the bar so we were a bit late starting. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, additional drinks are relatively cheap. A few steps from Oxford Circus. All colleagues were talking about it the next day, and what fun it had been!
I went here with a friend on Saturday and we had a great time! I was concerned we'd get stuck with a stag do there were many! but we were well placed with 2 couples and another pair of girls. The employee who took our session was great : he explained everything really well and made it really fun. Great selection of drinks at the bar too. I had a great time!
Wonderful establishment + Amazing staff. Wonderful bar with well trained bartenders. The staff played with me and my colleagues. 100% recommend anyone to go who wishes to restore your mental health after a chaotic day at work. Service: 5/5

I had a fantastic time at the axe throwing experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even when we arrived late. They were flexible and allowed us to take a later slot without any hassle. Plus, the food was delicious!Food: 5/5
First time Axe Throwing and I bought 6 tickets for myself and my family visiting from California. To say they they had an amazing time is an understatement. First we were greeted by friendly smiles followed by meeting our coach Piotr. He was kind, cool and professional, we couldn't have asked for anyone more friendly. Able to laugh and converse it felt he was more a part of the group then our teacher. Then at the bar, we were served first by Jacob and then by Harry both of whom were engaging and kind with lots of smiles. Bottom line; Everyone was happy and smiling, there is nothing worse than paying money and looking forward to an activity like this and having staff not looking like they want to be there! I will be coming back, being the worst in the group at axe throwing! I will be coming back for the friendly staff above all else : Would highly recommend this venue and its exemplary team.
We came for a random night out at Whistle Punks tonight, the 5 of us have had an amazing evening with the lovely Jordan! He was energetic and entertaining! He included everyone and gave a friendly, encouraging and supportive atmosphere! We will definitely be returning! Thank you all for a wonderful time and an extra special thanks to Jordan! Cheers!
It was a nice experience, we went with our office team. First time I’ve done Axe Throwing which was great. Instructor has explained the rules and energetic guy. The space is nicely divided with seating at the bar and the axe throwing area. He ensured that we were safe, enjoying ourselves and team had a great fun. Really enjoyable experience. Can be considered a little pricey but great fun.
Horrible service would not recommend the instructor. The ambience was ok and price was not worth to share lanes with strangers. The service was a major letdown. The place was empty as we had the last slot of the day. Our instructor, Jade, was not welcoming to my party. We were 5 minutes late, which was our fault, and we understand her frustration having to wait and start late. However, she was passive-aggressive throughout the session, impatient, and even rolled her eyes when some of us needed to urgently use the bathroom would say like "well, I guess we have to wait again ugh". Her attitude was very off-putting and her behavior made our experience there very unpleasant. When one of my friends walked into the throwing area without her permission which I agree was against a rule she had mentioned earlier, the instructor "I told you not to do that" and rolled her eyes at my friend. The place seems to have pretty good reviews, so maybe we got unlucky as she was rushing to leave her work place. Trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but that does not justify her attitude towards her customers.
