This is a great way to spend a couple of hours. The Tour is interesting I learnt a few things, not too long and the lady who presents is friendly and fun. The Distillery is really well 'put together', really nice decor and seating area, there is also a nice outside area with great views but it was raining when we visited . The Gin tasting is great, I also like the way they cater for 'designated drivers' by providing 'Take-away' Gins/Vodkas for those people. The Gin is awesome, so much so I bought a Bottle Would definitely recommend a visit
Great place for passengers to have a cheeky taster and drivers to have a comfort break, when passing by on the A75. Also good that their gin bottles are now made in the UK, rather than shipped from the far side of the EU.....
Michelle likes Gin and this is a must if you like it too,I was driving so I didn't have anything after we did the guided tour of the Distillery,really interesting the tour and a lovely place and nice helpful staff working there..
Wow… I will never look at gin the same way! Very friendly staff, informative tour and a really unique products! My wife and I did the tour with our son who was a little restless being a toddler… but was even accommodated for without the need for gin! We have every intention of coming back when we are next on our travels and will be bringing family! See you all again soon!
We had a great time at Crafty Distillery! We were impressed by the taste of the spirits and cocktail recommendations the vodka was creamy and nutty and was amazing when paired with ginger beer. The support of local people, local materials, and the love and craftsmanship that went into the building and the spirits is great to see! Creating their spirits completely themselves other than sourcing the wheat and some of the botanicals from far away really makes their spirits special. This distillery tour is probably the most informational one I've ever been on, very good stuff if you are a spirit enthusiast, I would highly recommend a visit!
Excellent tour with a description of all the stages of the process, different botanicals and the history of the distillery. Very good informal tasting of the very high quality gin, gin cocktail and vodka products. Highly recommended to visit for a tour and tasting if you are in the area, not to be missed!
I was given the tour as a present for my birthday. Thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon. James was really enthusiastic and informative. Loved my goody bag as I was driving and unable to sample the gin when there. Learned such a lot. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful Vodka and a Gin I finally like Burnt Orange and smoked Pineapple. Very friendly staff. The show was stolen buy Finthe Springer Spaniel who was so lovely, friendly and loved having all the attention. Worth the trip just to meet Finn. Sorry no Photos Fin was to much fun to take any.
A decent time with lovely gin. I attended the 3pm tour on a Friday alongside three friends. The tour contains a lot of information and was delivered well. With gin with such a popular drink it was interesting to learn more about its production. £12.50 is a fair price for the tour which includes a free G&T at the end. The tour and drink at the end takes approximately 1 hour. The tour guide did not give my colleague Louisa Slam his number.
So happy I made the trip to this special spot. Met the owner and had an amazing tour that made me appreciate great gin makingyou need to know what make a great gin. Thank you Crafty Team!
