Absolutely brilliant for all ages beach is clean, plenty of shops definitely recommend.
Reasonable enough station but no proper seats only tilted ones offering little support and no lift to cross to the opposite platform. Neither of these is ideal for those with mobility difficulties.
Exhilirating, changeable October weather. Fantastic base for walking northwards on the coastal path towards Blyth through Seaton Sluice. Stroll southwards to Tynemouth for coffee at Woods. Visit the weekend market in Tynemouth metro station or on to North Shields for the fish quay.
Excellent service been taking my dog chezz there for over 10 yrs wen I used to say to him come on your going to get your haircut got so excited the girls are brilliant he was part of there family and I thank them for a 10.10 service sadly chezz passed 3 weeks ago god a lovely card of the girls thanks for everything AlAN xx
A nice seaside town. We visited the annual carnival today and it was great.
Nice station. No proper seating as there's no barriers. A bit empty, poor use of space.
