Ate lunch here after doing the waterfalls trail.nLovely pub with plenty of tables and really nice friendly staff.nnBig menu with plenty of choices.nI had the beef burger which was good. I think it had probably been a bit overcooked and was quite dark, however the flavour was really nice, and it was large! Plenty of cheese and bacon, all served in a nice big bun.nAlso came with nicely cooked thin fries which were tastynnSomeone else had the gammon, chips and egg from the 'lighter bites' section which was really good. And great price for the portion size.nnI would definitely recommend this place and happily eat here again.
Lovely welcome and very helpful with a change in the online booking even before ww arrived. Good room, quiet and clean, great evening meal and hearty breakfast to kick start a Dales weekend tour. Definitely recommend and thank you for a lovely stay, albeit a brief one!
Stayed here for two nights. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay, nice clean rooms, lovely food and very friendly staff. Would definitely come back, thank you
Spent a night here while travelling around the area, it's in a gorgeous area! We had an ensuite room, a little care worn but perfectly fine. We had an evening meal downstairs in the pub, to be honest I wasn't expecting much but the food and service were excellent... the inclusive breakfast was great! Car park is next to the pub and has a resident's only area, which is nice as the village is small and parking looks like it's at a premium.
Lovely place to stay, really friendly. Monday night is quiz night, which we joined in. The waterfalls are just at the bottom of the village. The dog was allowed everywhere.nBreakfast was nice, just the job before I day walking, see menu.
