I paid £739 and my boiler still doesn't work! Make sure you read the other reviews before you book, because I didn't and it seriously cost me. In December my boiler started leaking. An engineer from W-Heat came to my house and said it needed a return manifold replacing. They quoted £739 which was a bit shocking but it's the dead of winter and I needed it sorting so I booked the repair. I stupidly paid on the same day I was invoiced, because just 3 days after the repair the boiler started leaking again. I called the office, naturally assuming they would make it right. The engineer came again and immediately saw the problem. He said a pipe was old and would need replacing. He went away to source the part. When I called the office a few days later to chase progress, I was told I would be charged about £150 presumably plus VAT for them to make it right! The engineer had told me the pipe was old, therefore the problem was clearly not something that occurred in the 3 days between his first repair and the leak starting again. It should have been identified at the first assessment and fixed along with the return manifold. I was willing the pay for the second part because, had the first assessment been done correctly, I would always have been charged for 2 parts. Fair enough. But it's ridiculously to ask me to pay for more labour when it was the labour that was the problem in the first place. W-Heat has my £739 and I still have a a broken boiler. Nightmare. I just wish I'd read the reviews on here before booking because a lot of them talk about unfinished jobs :-
Myself and all my family use W-heat if we ever have a problem. Always a quick and successful service provided. Nick the main guy always goes out of his way with any problems to resolve as quickly as possible. Wouldn't use anyone else to be honest. 5 stars given from myself.
Combi boiler fitted Sept 2023 after the men had done we went into the loft and discovered that most of the loft insulation had been ripped up and thrown about in piles but not one to make a fuss hubby relaid it all,then we had a severe frost and the outside drainage pipe that they fitted had frozen so no heating and no water ,we went round 3times and were told there was nothing they could do which with weather conditions we understood they were busy but when one did come out we were told callout was £90and all that was done was to put drainage pipe running into a bucket for next 5weeks they eventually said they would come and re-route pipe but it would cost £60so we havnt paid either because the job was never finished has promised it's all money with them and I have photos of it all on my phone
Tried to charge me for a call out when they said they wouldn’t. I told them I had a leak in my hot water tank and needed it replacing . They were going to charge me to tell me what I told them!!!!!!!!!
Avoid. Botched a shower pump repair which has cost us £100s to resolve. Continually difficult and abrasive to deal with.
Excellent service and really pleased with W-Heat. Our combi boiler stopped working the week before Christmas. Nick was with us in no time and whilst we feared a new boiler was required, he was able to diagnose the fault and it was repaired by another excellent member of staff a couple of days later. Also important to us was the fantastic support and updates from Kate. Highly recommended, will use again and they will be our go-to when the boiler does eventually give up!
All the staff I dealt with were amazing. The lady taking the calls was friendly and helpful. The guy who came to carry out the work was knowledgable and chatty. The response time was fast and the cost of the work was very reasonable. What a great company. I would recommend to everyone.

Serviced the boiler, fixed one fault. Caused another fault and tried to charge over £400 to repair. Stay away!!!!
Really, really happy. Initially, I contacted them for the installation of new boiler after let down by other plumbers. Now subscribe to their monthly servicing plan and they come regularly to service it. I have also used them for the installation of a new fusebox and removal of outside toilet my house is very old!!! and they were very reasonably priced jobs, always arrived on time and no problems whatsoever. I've found both the engineers and office staff to be friendly, approachable and hard working. I just wish they did roofs, gardens and the other many problems my home always seems to have...
