Went to get a Sunday dinner takeaway 12-2, I can recommend this highly, I collected 5 roasts which were good. My only criticism would be that they don’t let dogs in if you want to eat in. They do however have a sheltered area outside where you can enjoy a meal with your dog. It would be a good idea if they we’re to provide an area inside for dogs as you don’t want to be eating outside with the wind and rain this time of year.
Just had the best roast dinner at the carvery at wheal dream. I always think home cooked roasts have the edge on restaurant roasts, but this was just like the best home cooked Sunday dinner, plentiful, sumptuous and full of flavour. Lovely friendly atmosphere, attentive staff and lovely owner. Well done to all.
We popped in without a booking as we were driving past at about 7pm on Saturday evening. The host was very welcoming and helpful. The meal was gorgeous in a very relaxing atmosphere. Lovely place. Parking: Plenty of parking Dietary restrictions: I am coeliac and need completely gluten free food. The host was very helpful, assuring me that most of the menu can be adapted to gluten free and is cooked separately, avoiding cross-contamination. He was right!
Great food. Me and my wife love to visit here for a roast. Kids carvery is very expensive though. Grandsons carvery cost about £10 and he’s 5. A lot of money for a child who doesn’t eat much. No other kids meal option available either on a sunday Vegetarian options: Vegetarian option for my wife and she loved it Parking: Lots of parking

Booked a private function at wheal dream. Absolutely superb service from the booking stage to the event. Staff were brilliant and the buffet was plentiful and top quality. Thank you Barry and your excellent team.
Sunday carvery at Wheal Dream is a treat to be treasured. The selection of meats and vegetables are cooked to perfection, the service 1st class in a happy, friendly atmosphere. It is the best carvery in Cornwall. Vegetarian options: Well caterer for Kid-friendliness: Children's adventure area in garden Parking: Parking for many vehicles, but could do with properly marked bay's. Wheelchair accessibility: Full wheelchair accessibility Dietary restrictions: Catered for upon request.
I went with a group, and being December it was very busy. We had our starters promptly, then had to wait nearly an hour for our main course. When the main courses came. It wasnt qukte as described on the menu, i chose beef which came with Dauphinoise potatoes, instead they were over cooked roast potatoes, the dessert was supposed to come with a brittle they substitutdd thst with a wafer biscuit. So because of that, i cant give 5 stars. The meal was nice, but I presume with larger parties things can get hectic in the kitchen. Staff were pleasant. Great evening with friends
Literally cannot fault their carvary. Lush food and great atmosphere. The only let down would be there isn’t enough Gluten Free desert options. Other than that great service and friendly polite staff and team members. Dietary restrictions: Should be more Gluten Free desert options. The only let down.
Very disappointing meal, both had pizza, one Margaretta, one meat feast.Although the topping on the MF was tasty the bases on both were rubbery and cardboard texture and margaretta topping chewy. Very expensive for what it was could have got a better one for £3 from tesco. Don't waste your money..... On the plus side service from our waitress Sarah was lovely. Parking: Plenty of parking
