Attended a birthday party on what was a very busy evening in the club as boxing being shown in an adjacent bar area. Impressed with the licensee & staff who did a marvelous job & were great to deal with. The buffet was quality and was certainly complimented by the odd pint of Wainwrights. I've no doubt the bowling club side is also well run looking at the quality of the facilities/ greens but unlikely to experience, for a few years yet. Well worth a visit if you get chance.
Good value drinks and family friendly venue.
Fantastic place. Great hosts always a warm welcome. Fab size for functions. Great prices for drinks.
Friendly staff. Great trig point for hikers .beautiful inside as well as outside. Lovely bowling green .coverd area outside .Great for events such as weddings.,funerals. Really well maintained
Nice place. You can hire a room here and we held my little girls birthday party here. Very accommodating.
The Bowling Club is perfect for holding private functions and/or celebrations such as birthdays, anniversary, bar mitvahs etc with friendly staff who are always willing to help in any they can and provide a warm & friendly atmosphere
Hard to judge, only went for a christening, you can't rent it, there's a bar.
Disappoint decided to drop in for a drink and shot some balls but the cue were none existent any we did find had been snapped
A really good event
It surprised me. Didn't know what to expect to be honest. Bigger on the inside than it looked on the outside. Would recommend it if planning a party.
