Not particularly big but a pleasant walk around house and Garden. Nice topiary cottage tree. Pond rather murky. Nice cake and coffee in the church hall.

Well worth the visit this small but interesting former home Mr Lister who in his time entertained a number of illustrious guests.

excellent and interesting small national trust property but limited opening days as the property is tenanted. staff maybe not as knowledgeable as at other properties I have visited. The nearby church is well worth a look with its outsized tower.. Tea and homemade cake in the adjoining church hall are well worth it
