A great stadium - good views from all 4 sides and plenty of good seating - enjoyed a beer and chips great value - Good match on Saturday v Chesham finished 1-1 but an entertaining game with lots of chances both ends will definitely go again
Enjoyed my visit, ground has really only 2 sides to it, main cover and stand being behind the goal with series of meccano stands down one side. Plenty of outlets fir alcohol and good view from main standing area. It is on a retail park and is 2 miles out if Town, took 40mins to walk it
I didn't go in. I had a look from the outside. Nice setup
3/9/24 Weston-Super-Mare FC 2-0 Slough Town FC in the Vanarama National League South. My second visit to the Woodspring Stadium. I like this ground. It feels very non-league apart from the huge stand at the far end. It was £16 for an adult, programme was £3. The Stadium has gone cashless. Parking was £2. The bar area is huge, loads of room. Found it a bit dull though. Don’t know if there was a problem with the lighting. When you walk in you walk behind the covered seated stand. This will lead you to the main stand which is part terrace, part seating. I can see you getting wet if it rained in these seats. The side behind the dug outs is open to the elements with the other end side covered by scaffolding. The fans were good, open for a chat as were the many volunteers. Would highly recommend a visit.
Tidy little non-league football ground. Decent Kop like end for home fans behind the goal. Decent club house along side of pitch with food and drink available and covered seating/standing. Limited shelter in the awayend. Excellent game of football in the very wet rain. Excellent atmosphere with an attendance of over 2,300. Over 800 visiting Torquay United fans. Had a good day out visiting the club and ground for the first time
