I claimed for a replacement filling due to a broken tooth dental accident but by mistake just claimed normal dental. When I emailed and explained the mistake I was told not enough information was on the invoice. I have given them my dentist’s number so why not just contact them? Each email is taking 5 days plus to respond. Another example of insurance companies getting out of any claim they can with any lame excuse. It’s not even a large sum of money. I do not recommend Westfield Health. Very Poor customer service.
Absolutely rubbish. Paid into this policy for years for myself and my partner. Made a claim for the first time for a dental emergency with a broken tooth. The claim was rejected as I cant claim a dental emergency for eating. The only grounds it would cover if I was to be assaulted and the tooth broken that way. What a joke. Cancelled policy and taken my money elsewhere
I was really impressed and happy with my consultation with Miss Pakiza Muskan today She was very informative about my tennis elbow and explained why I had these symptoms that I have been experiencing. She gave me a number of exercises to do at home and advised me on the best way to avoid any more discomfort in my work place. I found her to be very pleasant and professional .
Absolute joke of a company. They cancelled my policy because I was waiting for a letter from GP to refer me to the chiropractor everyone knows GPs don’t believe in their service, EVEN though GPs go themselves to be treated, how ironic. Took around a month to get an appointment, got my letter signed and in the meantime they cancelled the ENTIRE policy. If you’re thinking of signing up just make sure you ask them the ENTIRE process for things first. So you have private health care to save the NHS appointments but then you need an appointment from the NHS for your claim. Make it make sense. Or is it their way of making things so much harder to pay out for. Had my money and now they’ve cancelled the cover. JOKE. AVOID.
Mmm, still the same - 5 stars for funding given towards your health costs; using their website for making an online claim 2 stars. Averaging of the two, 3 stars. The online claiming system is clunky and not intuitive. It is not clear what the questions wants as the answer, only when you have given an answer does it say 'this is not the way to answer'. Please use testing of online claims by an outside body to evaluate and refresh. Member for over 40 years. Always claim on paper for my husbands claims - no problems.
Great benefits and never had any issues claiming. So grateful my employer has provided this to us.
Westfield health are an absolute con. I have been with them for over 20 years and when you need them they are not there for you. They claim to be not for profit, but the costs are increasing. I have a formal complaint and no response with details of complaints procedure. If you're looking for a provider look elsewhere. Customer loyal means nothing. It's all about profit. I am working during their opening hours and impossible to speak to anyone. 20 years of loyalty means nothing
Unable to contact them by phone recurring ansaphone message that never puts you through so having to ask questions via email and wait for a response. With this policy through my workplace I’m told I have only one month of the year where I can upgrade my coverage which is ridiculous. And I’m unable to find out how much this would be until that month…?? Also as my physio treatment claim submitted shows ‘sports massage’ on my invoice, it apparently doesn’t qualify as physio, despite the physio recommending this, and the clinic being a sports rehabilitation clinic ! I was told that if the claim was resubmitted and updated to ‘physiotherapy’ then that would effectively be ‘fraudulent activity and dealt with accordingly.’ Very poor customer service. I would not recommend.
Denied claims every time, avoid them. Ombudsman said they both should have been paid. That took a year, then months to get paid. Also disputed parts of the claim. It was only 300 pounds the money they must have spent dealing with the ombudsman shows they don't care doe their customers as paying the claim would have cost them less and I'd still be a customer. So don't choose them, they will let you down.
The benefit limits are very clear on what you can claim for and the limit that is payable each year so reviews stating that they didn't pay out can only be due to people not checking what they are entitled to claim for and the benefit limit. The process to claim is very straight forward and the money credited back to your bank account quickly. My policy also covers dependents which I didn't realise so that was a nice little bonus to be able to claim their dental treatment back.
