First time using Westend chip shop today.nI have to say we really enjoyed it. The fish was a very good size, crispy batter not soggy inside like some chippy's. The chips were nice and well cooked.nI can definitely recommend this chip shop to anybody in the Accrington, Oswaldtwistle area.
I went to get fish and chips for three this evening and as it was closing at seven I ordered and paid at 6:15 pm asking if I could collect the order at 6:45. When I returned at 6:40 the order had already been bagged up whereas I expected the staff to begin making it up just prior to my return. I don’t know how long it had been bagged but possibly as a consequence the fish and chips were dry when we sat down to eat. I have heard so many good reports about this takeaway but in my own opinion the food was nothing special. Maybe it would have been better if it was only bagged up when I asked. Possibly the staff just wanted to get away on time.

We travelled from the other side of Blackburn it was recommend from a family member who lives in Stanley Oswaldtwistle.
Ordered fish and chips today. Fish was a nice size, well cooked and a nice crispy batter. The chips were lovely. Love that it comes in a nice box too . Sides of gravy and curry were nice. I use this chippy regularly but have never done a review for it so here it is.
