We buy, sell & repair all analogue photographic equipment, from Alpas to Zenits, and everything in between & beyond (including a wide selection of film, naturally). Our top little shop bursting with cameras is situated in Leeds Corn Exchange. We’re open every day of the week except Tuesdays, but we are open late on Thursdays in case you can’t come visit during working hours – there’s no excuse not to come and say hello and pick up a proper camera!

I have bought a camera, 2x lens and film from WY Cameras. I've been really happy with the purchases and they've always been as described. It can be hard to find a good second hand shop as there is a lot that can go wrong with cameras, but the items I've bought have been great and it gives me trust of buying items from the shop.

Got my camera from here and it’s all working as expected. Light meter works and the aperture priory mode has produced some really good pictures. I added the blue leather camera skin and manual adapter myself. Camera was a decent price and although you can find them cheaper you get some extra security of it being a good working camera by getting it from these guys. Cheers.

I inherited a large collection of analogue cameras from my late brother. When I felt I could finally deal with some of my brothers possessions I did some research and came across West Yorkshire Cameras. They are fantastic to deal with. They arranged for all the equipment to be collected and kept me informed about the value and condition of each piece. I'm pleased that my brothers treasured items will go to other collectors and people who are like minded and will really appreciate them. Thanks to everyone I have dealt with there. Amazingly good service.

Great shopping experience! Felt looked after all the way through. I ordered a large item from Sydney, Australia and they shipped it promptly and cheaply. The item arrived in perfect condition, in 8 days! Highly recommended.

Excellent camera shop. I have been in twice now and helped immensely by both members of staff. Today I had the pleasure of meeting the younger staff member and being dazzled by his knowledge, expertise and proficiency in fixing my camera. What an amazing place to have here in Leeds - shops like this don't exist anymore! A true gem.

Having just sold several cameras and lenses to WYC, I have to say it was a very positive experience. The offer I received for the equipment was very reasonable and it was collected from home free of charge. I received a final evaluation next day, with only minor adjustments, and payment following promptly.  Excellent company and highly recommended.

Highly professional and friendly staff, both with online dealings and in the shop. My late father was a customer from way back in their first venture in Huddersfield, and would have been so pleased to see how the business has progressed. Well done!

Great place if you like to shoot people without the police getting involved and the clean up afterwords.  Often see the guys from the shop like little elves leaving rolls of film lovingly around the beautiful home city of Leeds Leeds Leeds I’m sure you could find them via instergram  But remember this is analog yo keeping it reel in the city where the first moving picture was shot peace out

Selling my camera equipment was a smooth process start to finish. Prices are fair and payment quick. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend West Yorkshire Cameras, either to sell to or to buy from.

I have bought 3 lenses from WYC online, all were described as "Exc" and they do indeed work very well. Lens front and rear caps not always original were included. Cosmetic appearance was a bit variable, but this is not important to me, I could have asked I suppose. All arrived well packed and DPD are good and reliable couriers. All in all an excellent shop to deal with and I will be visiting the website every now and then to see if anything interesting comes up. Best Wishes. Oh and thanks for the tea
