Met my beautiful wife to be there. Luvd atmosphere and energy of high st and the tiny waterfall is a hidden gem..my French bulldog Peggy was adored by everyone she met.
It such a shame, but I have just been informed that they do not cater for adult parties, but only children's parties, being as I'm a resident of West Malling, and have been for over 24 years, I'm not able to celebrate my 60th at the Village Hall.
Its a medium size hall down a very narrow country lane with cars parked on one side making it a one track road, causing a big problem when a vehicle comes the other way.
The hall is nice and spacious, the floor has just been refurbished and is looking good. There are good facilities and a fair sized car park.nIf I have any gripes, it's ventilation and location.nFor ventilation, any sport or intensely physical activity and it does tend to get very close in there very quickly, even with the air con turned on.nFor location, it is down a very tight lane. From one direction, this is barely more than a twisting woodland track that often has branches down and scant little room for two cars to pass. From the high street direction, the road is just as narrow, but with residents parked in the road, cars jutting out from their driveways where they have them, etc.
I used this hall for many years to teach karate. Facilities were good and support from the caretaker very good. Due to the increased number of karate lessons run at the club and classes at the local school I found that support dwindled . I therefore closed the club after many years of happy teaching..:
