Beautiful views, excellent food and service equated to an enjoyable afternoon. Portion sizes were good, presentation equally good. Would definitely recommend group functions at this event. Staff friendly and professional.
One happy chappy ! I had visited West hove during my lunch break to grab a coffee and hit a few balls down the range ,I noticed they did club repairs in the pro shop so next time I was up that way I took in my injured 3 wood to see if they could fix it as I had damaged my shaft , fix it they did ,I'm still gobsmacked how well priced it was , great service ,nice people and what a view
The staff at the West Hove Golf Club, from the moment of booking my father's wake with Jayne, were kind, replied quickly to confirm the booking, gave good details about the services they could provide, catering, the room, and if we wanted use of the projector screen. Which we used easily my Laptop their HDMI socket to run photos and music. The catering was prepared by Debbie and her team and was lovely, well presented with a great variety of items to choose from, both hot and cold. The room was a good size for my father's wake, tables laid out with good space to move round. Jayne had made sure my father's photo was a placed as welcome for guests to see on arrival to the room. Simon and Jayne, made their introductions when we arrived and made sure we knew where toilets were and they provided us with a bell in the room, so we could ring for drinks, Simon and Collette were consistently available to take orders and engaged lightly with guests where appropriate. The car park provided plenty of space for guests and existing users. Excellent service, friendliness and food by all staff, from welcoming to leaving.
We hosted our Christmas party at West Hove Golf Club and had an amazing evening. Jane was excellent in the lead up to the event, answering all of my questions quickly and decorating the venue and tables so beautifully. The staff all took care of us on the night and we all had a great time! Thanks so much!
I had my 60th Birthday party in the clubhouse on Bonfire night. Great venue, plenty of room for 100 friends to mingle and dance. Simon and the bar staff were amazing on the night, thanks Tracey and Katie. Debbie and the catering team provided a variety of delicious finger food. Highly recommend having a ‘do’ here!
Payed £130 for 3 of us and buggies couldn't play a game of golf as others playing in front of us others behind us hitting balls as we are in the middle of the course very dangerous only managed to play 4 holes no one keeping an eye out course is also very confusing on the order of holes also lots of holes all other the course massive rabbit holes really bad wouldn't recommend
Tee boxes and greens in great condition. Course played really well better than I did anyway. Would've been 5 stars if the most important hole 19th was available but we were playing a twilight so was pretty dark as we came in towards the clubhouse. Will be returning soon.
Played at West Hove on number of occasions at different times of the year, As always the club was inviting, the breakfast was hot and plentiful. The course was in really good condition.
Stunning course, varied design and immaculately kept. Really friendly to new visitors, guys in pro shop were quite modest about the course which is superb. Chap on first tee friendly and encouraging. Had a decent round and will absolutely go back very soon!
A nice breakfast is always appreciated at the end of the round especially when it is wet Ground is now getting a bit quaggy
