Having already received treatment from Paul (Conrad) for an injury a few years ago, I contacted the West Hill Physiotherapy clinic in November after injuring my right knee without knowing what the specific injury was or indeed, how it managed to happen. After arranging an appointment with Paul, he quickly identified that this was a serious injury and needed an MRI scan to confirm that I had mostly likely torn my meniscus. During this time, he wrote a letter to my GP explaining how I needed it urgently as well as using his own time to draw up some stretches and exercises for my quads and knee, so that the pain could temporarily be reduced and therefore, making the surgery process for my knee in May a lot smoother. He was in regular contact with any questions I had for him in regards to my knee and was able to email me with suggestions as to improvements for it. Following surgery, I was let down by the NHS in terms of, they had not arranged any physiotherapy so that it could recover. Growing increasingly frustrated, I decided to contact Paul again in the summer with a view of going privately. He arranged an appointment for the same week and immediately helped by giving me stretches and encouraging me to join a gym to improve my rehabilitation. Since then, I continue to see Paul on a regular basis to improve my knee's performance with treatment such as acupuncture and I'm currently close to a stage where I can go back playing sport without the likelihood of injury re-occurring. I strongly encourage anyone who has any sort of physical discomfort to contact Paul or indeed the clinic, with a view to improving your physical health and being a lot more confident in day-to-day life knowing that you are not likely to cause an injury by playing sport, or engaging in any sort of exercise.
