Car park Is in a mess at present with building work machines and fencing. motorbike solo spaces are borderd off behind the fencing.nSaw two traffic wardens walking up and down after short walk back from loverly beach. That is the real reason to venture to this destination.nSpoke to one asking about the parking of motorbikes and when all the work would be finished. He didn't have a clue but was friendly and spotted the motorbike parking soaces. Which were the other side of the fences. I just parked alone side the fence and was told that was OK.nBe worned as I read on hear by someone else tgat the never have traffic warden here so not to worry. I found two on the same day, some my think I am very unlucky. But on a motorbike you never really worry as you can park in tiny places. As long as your not obstructing gangways etc.

The prices change throughout the year and obviously,  because it's Council owned, they put them up during the Summer. Very greedy as always!

There's two sides to this beach, the maps leads you to the stone beach but a stream blocks direct access to the sand beach side which is called east beach on maps. You will have to turn around and go Iver the bridge to reach that side but the sand beach is very nice. There's a local theme park that suitable for kids, an arcade, food stalls, plenty of parking, bbq pit areas, various playgrounds for kids, an express bus service along the beach. A great place to take the family out.

Reasonable parking charges and close proximity to the beach and amusement park.

It was heavy cleaning up of the Beachfront after the storm from the night before!!
