Went there today, there was a group of 20 of us doing the Grand Prix, we had the 2 Emily’s, Abraham, and Ben. They made sure everything went smoothly especially with a big group of us, if any issues occurred they resolved these efficiently. The facilities were great!nnWould deffo recommend and will be returning!nnP.S I made a 6 hour trip for this carting event and it deffo did not disappoint!
Great driving experience but a little under staffed a bit chaotic. Google maps didn't show the access to get in so we had to look on the satellite view to see where entrance was. The young lad and girl that worked here was taking bookings answering questions and also marshing in between. I've to tracks before that give you a safety briefing showing flags and things like that. This didn't have that a all. My son who is new to karting got several bruises. If your used to karting this is a fun indoor track smooth floors got for drifting.
Pros:n- Karts fairly quick for the track.n- Lap timer.nnCons:n- Entire warehouse is terribly ventilated, and smells of a thick and headache inducing mix of petrol and body odour.n- Staff had poor customer service skills, were inattentive, left us waiting without instruction for 15 mins.n- Overalls and helmets were old, ragged, and oozed sweat.n- Karts were painfully uncomfortable, and left a red mark on my back.nnConsclusion:nnI won't be going again. I suggest places that either have electric karts or are outdoors. Battlekart at Gateshead is an example of a superior experience that I have been to.
The kids had a brilliant experience. They enjoyed every minute of it. They have jump suits for everyone to change into and they do various sizes, as well as helmets and gloves. We will be coming again!
Ace course, can be both fast n drifty but also slow and accurate. Rare to find both approaches on one track be equally enjoyable
