I attended the paint and sip class at Dukes, Dunbar with Anna. With little or no experience in painting I approached the class with a lot of anxiety, expecting to be surrounded by a lot of ‘arty farty’ types. I couldn’t be so wrong. Anna made every effort to ensure we all felt comfortable as a group but also to reduce any anxieties. Anna’s approach was very encouraging helping people to feel confident in the task of painting. She was very professional, helping everyone have their voice and to feel you can achieve anything and to be confident in every stroke you made on the paper. You felt there was no such thing as a mistake.nAll of our paintings had signs of our own individuality and reflecting on our work, we could see what we saw as positives and to look at the learning we had achieved. The group were very relaxed and everyone engaged in conversation as we sipped our various beverages. The food Anna provided was excellent too. Loved the venue too.nI would highly recommend this course. It was exceptional thanks to our teacher. Lorna Field
