I have worked here at Westbank for 2 1/2 years. It was an absolute privilege to get the job as an Activities Coordinator. It is such a happy, very well led home. The staff are all so caring, kind & compassionate. The management are excellent, their door is always open. I would never work anywhere else
My Dad spent the last few weeks of his life at Westbank. Being an ex-professional I was able to observe various excellent and positive attributes of the home as well as the people who worked there, notably Matt and Sarah, Amy, Grant and Sophie all of whom my Dad got on with really well. My Dad was very well cared for at the home and I have nothing but admiration and respect for the people who work at Westbank. My Dad said, and from what I saw of his interaction with Matt, that he liked Matt a lot which was evident and reciprocated by Matt who cared for my Dad with extreme diligence, empathy and patience and gave my Dad the full respect that he deserved. The home is clean, well kept, the food looked appetising and delicious; I spotted two dining rooms and a couple of really lovely lounges. My Dad’s room was roomy enough for him, had an en-suite loo and a garden facing window. The grounds are as excellently kept as the home with mature trees and shrubs. I hope to remain independent for decades but if not I am certain that I would be well looked after at Westbank.
I have worked at Westbank for 4 years. We have a great team of staff and the Manager is knowledgeable and supportive. I would not consider working anywhere else.
Westbank is a very lovely place to work,the residents and staff are very lovely as well, I have been working there for 5 months and was made welcomed by everyone
Lovely home to work in staff friendly loads of activities for residents wouldn't work for anyone else
Such a wonderful place to work the staff and a great bunch to work with
