Wenzel's the Bakers

This shop is accessible due to flat surface and the door is generally open. The bread etc is OK but feel that some of the cakes are overpriced.

Dry pastries over cooked and seem pre frozen Quality has gone down hill wenzels used to be so much better than Greggs but now they seem the same except wenzels is more expensive!

Great bakery and friendly service. Huge selection of breads, sandwiches, cakes, muffins and other calorie dense foods.

NIce store well staffed so on a Sunday morning I was not waiting to be served in fact I was greeted as I entered but given some time and space to peruse and not feel I was being rushed. A decent selection of breads and cakes (It was a sunday morning so I think the selection would be greater on a working day) Staff friendly and a nice clean store with lots of room to move around in. Only one thing that seemed odd they had bucket loads of Halloween cakes/Cookies its mid September a tad early but I guess they know their market. I will definitely be going back to try out some of the cakes and breads.

Great bakery and I love my Rye Bread they do big loaf or a smaller loaf..
