Cannot recommend Wenningdale Escapes enough. We stayed for a few days over the weekend and cannot wait to go back. We stayed in one of the Pods and it was lovely. The Pod was bigger than first thought. It was warm and clean when we arrived. Everything you needed included. Great location for exploring around. Located on a golf course so great to sit and watch the golfers.
Just returned from a 2 night stay in one of the pods and it was brilliant. Very clean, everything you would need is provided, fabulous views and a perfect base from where to explore the area. Had an excellent meal in the local chippy, all of the locals very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning, the booking from start to finish was managed really well.
Outstanding! Friendly reception, the pod was lovely and warm for when we arrived. Everything we needed was to hand and the facilities were excellent. Amazing views.
Stayed in a spacious pod which was new to us, roomy and very clean so quiet impressed, the bed was huge and very comfy and each pod has it's own little private spaceRooms: 4/5
Our pod was absolutely spot in! Came for 2 nights over the new year and it was perfect!!! Just wanted a quiet spot to relax and rewind. Staff were brilliant. Our pod wasn't ready so they took our stuff in while we nipped to the pub. Will definitely come again Rooms: 5/5
We just returned from a two night stay in a pet friendly pod. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was clean and well stocked with essentials items. It's a beautiful location, a short walk from places to eat and drink. We went to Hoggs N Heifers, Black Bull and the Black Pig, everyone was warm and welcoming. The only downside was the weather. It rained quite heavily which meant we were unable to experience the golf course and with each drop of rain, it echoed through the pod. We didn't sleep well due to the weather. However, we can't hold Wenningdale Escapes accountable for the rain! It's still 5 stars from us. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Brilliant long weekend in one of the pods here. Everything you need and the view is breathtaking. Perfect base for us with our 2 dogs as so many beautiful places/walks are easily accessible. All the staff were lovely and helpful and the little town down the road has everything you need. Already planning our trip for next time. Thank you so much for a great stay!
We have never experience pods before but can say it was fantastic had everything you needed and warm too, really cosy and very comfortable bed. The check-in was done contacless because of covid but received text messages and information on what to do , but when we bumped into the staff out and about they were very polite and helpful especially the young lady in club house . We will definitely recommend to friends and family and we would definitely go again. The pubs in village are very friendly too especially the staff in the The black bull thank you to you all.
The pod we stayed in was great! Views were amazing, it had everything we needed! Les was amazing very friendly, helpful and such a nice person! Highly recommend staying here! The fact that dogs are also welcome is a massive bonus!Rooms: 5/5
I loved this place. Wish I could've stayed longer! Went for a short break just me and my dog. Was spotlessly clean and the views were spectacular overlooking Ingleborough. Was very lucky with the weather aswell. I took my camping stake that i could put into the ground with a long lead for my dog as the pods were not enclosed so this really helped and meant he was able to walk around and have a bit of freedom but couldn't go running riot over the golf course! The pods were within easy reach of lots of attractions. I visited Ingleborough Caves, Ingleton Waterfalls Trails. Lots of beautiful walks. All i would say is that i went for fish and chips from the local village of High Bentham. I would most definitely not recommend this place. The fish was the worst that i have ever had! Honestly, go to the chinese instead! Anyway, would highly recommend.
