More than just a bookshop, we've been selling new and second-hand books independently in a gorgeous medieval market town since 1987.
More than just a bookshop, Wenlock Books is the beating heart of the creative and literary community of Much Wenlock, Shropshire and is also the home of the nationally acclaimed Wenlock Poetry Festival.
Celebrating over twenty-five years in Much Wenlock, we are passionate about books and will give you all the help you need to find the right ones for you, whether they are new editions or pre-loved gems. We also stock a wide range of children's books, cards, CDs, and Lamy pens, as well as various bits and bobs to feed your literary and creative souls.
We are blessed that Shropshire is home to so many talented authors and, alongside our regular reading groups and children's activities, we host frequent special events to celebrate their work.
