Tonight has cost me the charge of two takeaways from two different places, because the food from here is inedable it tasted disgusting. Avoid at all costs don’t waste your money.

I usually go to Wendy Chows because its in my opinion the best Chinese food in scunthorpe but I phoned in last night and ordered a collection. Drove from Ashby to pick it up and when I got there I was told they don't accept Northern Irish notes (or Scottish), and I only had a £20 note from the Northern Bank (NI). The currency is still Sterling and promises to pay the bearer on demand, it's part of the UK and no where else has a problem accepting them. Sometimes the floor staff in smaller convenience stores will not recognise it but as soon as a manager is asked, they accept it no problem. So I don't understand the issue for Wendy Chows. I told to drive the 10 minutes or so back home, to get my card or a different bank note, and drive back; which is unacceptable in my opinion. The only other option was go into a store that does accept them and buy something to get change. But I'm not going to spend money just to be allowed to spend more. So I did without my Chinese.

Rang 16 times and no answer on two different numbers on web sites..... so booked in else where on first time ringing..
