Lovely walks and plenty for the kids to do, it's improved massively with the new gruffalo statue and the kids found the zog A.R adventure really fun
Beautiful place with plenty of trails to walk. Lots of sign posts for various trails. The scenery is stunning. Car parking is charged, although not the cheapest is still reasonable.nLovely cafe on site, did purchase a hot drink which was very nice. Good range of food, snacks and cakes although did not buy any food so cannot comment on quality. Will definitely return for some more exploring.
Warning, the entrance is one way with no warning till 100 m on that there is number plate recognition. Only 2 km later do you get to car park which shows the parking cost is 2:40 for 2 hrs. There is no escape. That said some great facilities including two warm and clean baby change and a Covid safe cafe.
Went for a forest walk on my birthday with my family. The grandchildren loved the fact that it was also gruffolo's birthday and a treasure trail.
Wendover Woods is a lovely place to visit, whether it be for a walk, to check out the views, or entertain the kids with the various play areas and trails. The little café is great too. I've been here several times over the last couple of years and will definitely return!
