A bit tricky. I'm a member. What would you expecrfrom me? It's very friendly, very sociable and very popular with golfers and others, who use the clubhouse for coffee or lunch. Three nine hole courses that look straightforward but it's good test. You have to know where to position the ball!
Our Model Railway Society had a fantastic evening last week. The food and service were excellent. well done to the waiting staff and the chef. We will be back next year
Excellent course with decent club house and good food, only lacks a good driving range.
Nice golf club, just getting back into golf after 8 to 10 yr lay off, been very satisfied with Neil in the pro shop, knows his stuff!! Only tried the practice putting green, couldn't find a straight putt, longer than about 8 foot . Hope to try the course somewhen soon. Changed my putter and really happy with choice, and advice from Neil.
Army society group playing 36 holes with Bacon bap and Coffee to start 18 holes on Ryedown & Embley combo. In for lunch great food very friendly staff afternoon Embley & Blackwater. Course in good condition. Well worth the visit. Highly recommended.
For such a stunning set of courses this place is quiet over the weekend. Had myself a cheeky breakfast before the round and that was just as good. Great value for money compared to most in the area.
Excellent courses, you get 3 9 hole courses and can choose to do 2, or all 3 if you like we did Ryedown and Embley. A mixture of challenging holes and shirt par 3's. Something for everyone. Really well looked after. Will be back x
Lovely course, selection of 3 9's Means that you can mix up the combination to have a new challenge every week which stops the course from getting "samey" However..... Staff in the proshop not to be confused with the club house as the staff here are very friendly are extremely grumpy, borderline rude which really retracts from the experience and is the reason why I'll be getting a membership elsewhere next year. Older members also don't seem to care for tee times either which is annoying, last weekend I had booked a 15:20 tee time and as we were waiting patiently for Our time to come around an couple of members walk up and tee'd their balls as we were warming up at 15:17! I said hello and enquired what time they had booked and was told that they were members and didn't have to book a time. Very strange behaviour which meant we had delays on what was a pretty empty course.
27 beautiful holes of easy walking. Buggies available good food and drinks at reasonable prices. Give it a go!
Had Christmas lunch with 3 friends. Food very good. Home made mince pies to finish. Only reason I didn't rate, 5* was that service was a bit rushed - dessert served as soon as dinner plates cleared and the coffee and mince pies also.
