What a great Fish & Chip shop. The main fish and chips were the best we have eaten in the last few years. The batter was crunchy, but not greasy, and the chips were very good too. The owner was a nice guy too - very friendly! We'll definitely be back.

Great fish and chips...so good we went back again!
We were staying at the Old School House B & B, Uppertown, we were recommended to try the Wellington Street Fish shop. We found it quite easily, parked up and went in. Good selection on the menu and it was freshly cooked to order. Excellent and reasonable prices, would recommend you try it.
Ordered over the phone at 5.50pm. Told us it would be ready at 6.35, so got there then. For social distancing reasons I obviously had to wait outside, but food wasn't ready until 7. Fish and chips were good, but I won't be going back if they can't manage their orders to be ready on time.
Food cooked to order and really fresh and delicious. Friendly staff and good value for money.
Superb quality and portion size, ordered small fish and chips which was excellent.
