I like this train station and its friendly staff. The station has a little cafe. A car park next to the station making it really convenient. Specially i like the steel arches. Lifts facility available.
It's changed over the years, more housing keeps appearing, but not amenities to support the influx to the town centre. No more restaurants and takeaways, we have enough.
Lovely place, the people I met were friendly, nice houses, lots of construction going on, so if you're looking to buy a retirement home this is it.
I use this railway to go from Wellingborough to Luton on platform 4 and I'm overall pretty satisfied.nPros:n-Lift access for every stationn-Large waiting areas for all stationsn-Security cameras everywherenCons:n-Platform 4 has little shelter for the rain causing everyone to crowd on the stairsn-Seating is lacking for some platforms, especially platform 1n-The seating hub on the far side of platform 4 is infested with spiders!nAs for the trains I use EMR which is good however people need to stop using standard class / first class seats without using the table! As someone who has a laptop it's rather annoying to see people sitting there while using their phones!
Like many British town centres, it’s in desperate need of investment. Parking in and around the town centre is frustrating, as is getting around in your car. The poorly maintained roads are full of potholes. There are lots of empty shops, although there are a growing number of charity shops & vape stores.nnIt’s a shame, as Wellingborough has wonderful people, a rich history, some really nice architecture and so much potential.
