Moved across the town, so I thought I'd give wellies now my local fish & chip shop a try after hearing fantastic reviews about them. The food was absolutely spot on, very tasty, nice & hot! Customer service was great also! I ordered a large chips states "sharing" on menu board as was feeding 2 adults 2 children, sadly there was only Just enough to have a very small handful each!... I don't know if this is there normal portion size, but it was very tight sadly, we all was still hungry after, so then had to cook. We will be back to try again as the food was great! Hoping for a large chips next time.

Hey, I had a large cod, chips, mushy peas & coke to go. Sat in the car and listened to Evan Davis presenting PM. Loved the fish & chips, fabadooozzeeee. They are award winning for good reason... enjoyFood: 5/5
2 occasions now missed items. last occasion missed all chips and 1 sauce so was left with 3 large fish and sausages when called up to complain. just get a sorry. nothing else. will start using another chip shop from now on.

Waited for order not too bad i ordered haddock and chips x2 but when i went to eat i noticed we had been given cod very small pieces and it looked like we had 1 scoop of chips only each with the cod. I did think of taking my order back but the traffic was too busy to do that i am not happy at all i will not go back
Excellent is the only adequate rating I can give. Customers pass many food outlets to get here and for good reason, it really is 5 star

Last time I had deep fried haggis was on the Isle of Skye 2 years ago so expectations were high ! ....And Wellies delivered!! Their deep fried haggis is majestic will be returning for another ....Ow and chippy chips
