We also offer non Electric hook up pitches.We accept Motorhomes, Caravans, Tents and most types of accommodation in-between.We are a family friendly site, with lots of walks straight from our fields.We host many people working towards their Duke of Edinburgh. Booked in last min for 1 night. Service was really good very welcoming even at short notice. The showers and toilets were spotless and the laundry room and washing area was faultless too. Very happy finding such a nice camp surrounded by some excellent views and walks. Will definitely recommend and return.Rooms: 4/5
You simply cannot find a better campsite. The pitches are roomy and the site is immaculate. Dog walks are straight across the camping field and on to the bridle path or the canal is just across the road. On site farm shop sells a few essentials and the milk is local. A stones throw from 2 amazing pubs who are both dog friendly and serve great food. The view, second to none.
Just returned from a 4 night stay in our motorhome on the adults only side of this site. Lovely area great for walking directly from the site. We had a warm and helpful welcome from Adele and her team. Facilities were always obtainable despite the site being busy and were clean, it wasn't a problem having to cross the road to access these. I only purchased a from the farm shop to enhance my G & T but could tell the difference it being organic. My only negative comment and it might be me being picky was that it would have been nice to have had the grass cut for the Bank Holiday weekend. We will certainly return next June when the Brass Band contest is happening.
Adele was thoughtful but fair. She was keen to keep to rules on check out but at the same time kindly offered me paracetamol when I had a headache- a personal touch that you would not normally expect of a site owner. Amazing views with the dawn chorus- take some ear plugs though to sleep after!Service: 4/5
We come here often in our VW camper & always have a great time , site is spotless & plenty of room on the pitches, nice pubs close, owners are always friendly cheers Phil , ang & granddaughter GracieService: 5/5
Great place to stay on this campsite, it has amazing views, had to cut the trip short because our tent broke but the owners were lovely and gave us a refund for the night we couldn’t stay, definitely recommend, good water pressure in the showers tooService: 5/5
Lovely stay here with my little family and some friends. We only stayed for one night but would definitely stay more next time
An absolute gem. The grounds are kept beautifully. The facilities are spotlessly clean. The owners are lovely and welcoming. Walkability: Stunning local walks and scenery
Great location, lovely walks to Uppermill, Dovestone reservoir and others. 10 mins to pub and Tesco not far. Facilities spotless. Great staff. Make sure you find the right website. We’ve not been for 2 years as one website says they’re closed and they can’t remove the site. Food & drinks: Has a small farm shop and stocks the essentials
