Open long hours, open tills when it gets slightly busy. Hard working and nice staff. I can’t believe the negative comments. After two years I always go here first. It’s a community essential.nThank you all at the shop.
After reading some of the negative reviews, I can't understand why they have had such bad experiences with staff. I have always found them to be welcoming, friendly and helpful. Never experienced anything to warrant a negative response. Will always shop here for the friendly service. The staff work hard and go out of their way to help you.
Good sized coop franchise convenience store with post office. Instore bakery is great with hot food available most of the day. The bacon and cheese turnovers are great! The usual coop deals are available, but anything else is a bit pricey. Staff are not the happiest bunch, but when there is a queue they are quick to react and start serving.
A super little supermarket. Great of produce Inc gluten free, friendly helpful staff and always reliable. Shop local and you won't be disappointed
Did have a great time at Bembridge Co-Op and just reading that you may be wondering what warranted a 3 star review, well. As i walked towards the establishment i was met close to the door by a very tall bald man who said his name was “Callum Adams” not sure whether thats true but i go on, he said he works for the Co-Op and i wasnt allowed in but if i wanted dome quavers he could sort me out. Shortly after, a member of staff came out after hearing the conference and questioned “Callums” authority at Bembridge Co-Op he explained that he is famously known as the “king of the Isle Of Wight” and that he can do what he wants when he wants, he was asked to leave and didnt put up a fight, he zipped up his fake superdry jacket full off stolen quavers and left on his electric scooter. Besides the issues at the door i would visit this Co-Op again, just disappointed there were no more quavers or soas left when i entered the shop as its what my mrs sent me to buy… 3/5 stars
