Highly recommend this business, Recently purchased my new company van from them. Brandon and Jag were both very helpful, couldn't wish to meet nicer staff. Very nice selection of clean straight vans. Will definitely use again. Regards Ben
We called about a van we wanted to buy and told them that we will be there next day by 1 pm. After driving for about 2 hours to get there, to be told that they sold the van that morning. They couldn't even bother to call and tell us, don't come , because we already sold it... Even if we were already on our way there, we could've turned back , not get there for nothing. Their excuse was that we didn't pay any deposit.. deposit that no one told us about when we spoke on the phone. And also if someone comes and pays cash they sell it straight away. Next time when you talk to a potential customer tell them that they need a deposit to secure the vehicle. And if you decide to sell it knowing that someone is driving to your premises to view a van have the decency to call them and let them know you have sold it. If I could give less than 1 star... I would. Update: why are you lying? You spoke on the phone with my husband, and no one told him about any deposit , he would have paid it because he really needed a van for work. You had his phone number but you didn't bother... An apology? From us? Why? Because you made us drive there for nothing? So yeah , I was right.. you deserve LESS THAN 1 STAR!
Wish I had listened to the poorer reviews first to be honest, but I gave this company the benefit of the doubt. We are a 27 year old couple from South West Cornwall, who a few months back we're looking for a van to turn in to a camper after years of saving up. We spotted a van that we thought looked ideal and after a phone call with the owner Brandon he seemed really nice and helpful, so we paid a £500 deposit and drove the 5 hours to Birmingham to check the van over and took it home! It had a brand new mot with NO advisories, 3 months warranty and 12 months AA cover. Less than one hour away from Wednesbury Motors we stopped for fuel. After filling up the van would not start. After contacting Brandon the next day as the office was then closed and there was no answer we spoke on the phone and agreed that we would take the van to our local mechanic who we have been with for years as it would be silly to take the van all the way back to Birmingham as it stated on the warranty agreement plus it was unsafe to drive at that point. Our mechanic was swift at telling us the problem, which was a serious starter motor and flywheel issue. This work was quotes at 1029 which Brandon agreed to pay. However this work racked up a whopping 1500 in total, as when the parts were so severely ceased up seval elements snapped or broke off when fixing the starter motor. After informing brandon of this I was met with gross hostility and rudeness. He continued to accuse me of 'taking him for a ride' and he said he could 'smell a fish' explaining that he thought I was trying to do him out of money. He continued to be extremely rude on the phone to me saying that he didn't have time to waste talking to me and had more important things to do. I ended up having to fork out an extra 500 on a van that broke down within an hour of us buying it, after spending £6600 on it. He will respond to this by saying that the warranty states the van must be returned to the dealership for any repair, however this was void after he agreed I take it to my garage. Plus the van was clearly unsafe to drive. But he will have no excuse for being rude and unkind to customers. I have since contacted Brandon asking for a settlement of the rest of the invoice cost, and have contacted the Ombudsman service to escalate this, seeing as I have emails, photos and video evidence. They have agreed to support me with my case. I have received no response from Brandon. Such a shame because at first he seemed like a really genuine guy. However this is obviously not the cause if you have any issues with your purchase. IN RESPONSE TO REPLY Your unprofessional manner was during phone calls to discuss the issues. If you don't think telling someone that you 'smell a fish' and you don't have time to waste talking to me then you obviously don't understand what rudeness is. You did Not pay 1200, you paid 1029.50p. Which I have reciept for. Your repairs would have cost you less because you got them for cheaper from your own mechanics. Unfortunately you agreed to let the van be fixed by our mechanic and took responsibility for it. I don't understand how a van with a brand new MOT could have so much wrong with it right away. I think it's us who should have SMELT A FISH.
We purchased a second hand van from these guys and I can honestly say they have been great with us. There were faults on the van that we spotted on the forecourt. They fixed them all. The under the warranty the engine developed a serious problem. They had the van back gave us a loan vehicle and rebuilt the engine with out it costing us a penny. Jag and his team didnt question us or get annoyed with us checking how the progress was going. I will happily recommend them to anyone who wants a van. Since this review was left the van has developed several problems, egr valve failure, dpf totally blocked and now total engine failure. The van has now become not viable to maintain having costcuse over £1000 plus now a replacement engine needs to be fitted. Shame as everything else was great
Absolutely fantastic customer service, have been using the garage for many years for my MOT's. Decided it was time to upgrade and Brandon was absolutely fantastic, from buying the car to arranging the finance, everything was seamless. Would give more than 5 if i could. Will definitely be back again!
Purchased a 2010 Transit Connect from them in mid September, very helpful and the van is great! A couple of unforeseen technical issues shortly after, but to their credit they wouldn’t have seen/ known them unless they were driving is regularly as I had been. Problems quickly and professionally resolved. Staff all very helpful and easy to talk to. I’ve recommended them on to a few of my work mates. Smooth and easy transaction.
I bought a Citroen van from wednesbury motors about 5 weeks ago, received a great service. The van was mot'd and ready for collection on the agreed date and is running well with no problems. They were good to deal with, not pushy and were very professional. Would definitely recommend and use them again in the future.
Brilliant service from Jag and Kevin, who took us through all the important bits relating to a 14 plate transit we purchased. Couple of months on all things running smoothly and they have helped us out with a couple of technical queries we had after purchase in a very professional manner.
