Waves Car Wash (Tesco Sunderland Extra)

Pretty good place, service is decent & they are pretty accurate when they tell you how long they'll take too. I have had the wrong service once, but it was more expensive than what I asked for & they didn't charge me extra so it's a minor niggle more than anything. I recommend it, wax one a season & basic top ups every 2-4 weeks depending on the season.

This was the first and last time I would take my car there. This is the type where you leave your vehicle & keys at the car wash while you go and shop. When I left my keys I was handed, and asked to sign a receipt which I would produce upon returning. So off I went, completed my shopping, returned and paid for the wash. On having a look around my car I noticed 6 or 7 parallel scratches on the rear door. These had obviously been done by the water hose being lashed up & down the door, which I witnessed happening to someone else's car! The receipt which was handed to me at the start had a pre-wash check list on the rear which was supposed to be completed by the staff but hadn't! All the writing on the receipt is basically a huge get out clauseT's & C's, relieving them of any blame if damage is caused. BEWARE, your car is really left at owners risk!!!

The staff have always been friendly and courteous and have done a great cleaning job for a reasonable price. Recommended.
