I went to get a car wash, it was quite cold and icy. They were happy to clean the car and didn’t mention any issues until I returned to the car and was told it was too cold to wash the cat properly but still charged me full price. Avoid at all costs.Services: Auto interior vacuuming
Left my van to have the outside cleaned and then went to fill up with diesel. The sun visor was down so I hadn’t noticed a huge crack in the windscreen until I stopped for fuel. It definitely was not there before I dropped it off with them. Upon going back to waves staff were immediately defensive and said it was already there. Their body language and behaviour showed me that they had definitely caused the damage. They said they had pictures before they washed the van which they could not or would not produce. Told me they had sent them to head office. They got very angry and denied all responsibility. Hideous service and behaviour. Would definitely not recommend. Would give 0 stars if it was an option.
Great value, very friendly and able to accommodate your needs and timescales within reason.
I’m not sure what other reviewer’s standards are for a hand wash but, I’ve always gotten great service here. The guys are friendly and my car comes out clean. I’ve paid less other places but you get what you pay for. That being said, the only reason this isn’t 5 stars is the price does seem a little high as others mentioned. As for a waiting area, go get your shopping done in Tesco while they wash you car or, better yet, go chill out in Harris + Hoole where they’ll make you a beautiful cup of coffee!
Car was clean ok-ish - missed some spots outside, inside was done fine, but not brilliant. Would be 3 stars, buuuuuut... I paid by card, the man taking the payment said £25 while typing ok my bad - I should have looked, but the way he was holding the machine I couldn't see properly and was in a hurry, but the charge came out as £30 - he didn't mention any tip etc. So in principle, a plain theft. That's not on!
My wife took her car there and left with a broken gearbox linkage, no one at the franchise wanted to talk to me about not being able to select reverse after they were finished. No one accepted responsibility so we had to pay for the repair. DO NOT DRIVE AWAY UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED EVERYTHING.
Do not use this car wash. It used to be great, but now have new staff who managed to destroy some trim on my brand new car through sheer carelessness. This will cost a fortune to repair. Thanks. Avoid at all costs if you value your car at all. I would give them no stars if I could.
