Beautiful rural setting with forest trails on the doorstep. Excellent facilities within the cottages which are warm and cosy. The lovely towns of Hawick and Jedburgh are just a few miles away and the coast and Berwick upon Tweed is only 40 miles north east. B roads in this area are quiet and uncluttered (watch out for the potholes near the edges tho) and the A roads are wonderfully smooth and sweeping showing off some fantastic views of the surrounding Borders countryside. The run from Wauchope cottages down to Kielder Water is breathtaking. We loved the place and will definitely be visiting again.
