Sadly, have to write a very negative review.nnA few years ago, I placed an order with Watts Farm. Some of it didn’t come, so I had to wait in on the 2nd day.nnI decided this might have been a one-off that could happen to any company so this year, I gave them another chance for my Christmas order.nnIt arrived on 23rd. The time slot changed so again, a lot of hanging around. And the driver told me how cross he was at having to come out all the way to me – not a great look for the company.nnBut worse, a couple of items were missing. Again.nnSo I rang and the customer service person was very nice, apologized and organized replacements to be sent out Christmas Eve. Infuriating as I had other plans but I needed it.nnI had to ring them in the morning as no time had been advised. I was told they couldn’t find the goods in the warehouse so were trying to sort it.nnEventually, I was given a 12-1pm slot. So I sat, on a chair by my front window, intent not to miss it.nn12 went. I pm went. 2pm went. Another call from me couldn’t get an immediate answer as apparently this particular driver doesn’t like using a phone out on delivery, even hands free. Wow – a bit of a pre-requisite for most deliveries to stay in touch with the office.nnEventually, I was told that the driver claimed to have delivered it much earlier but because he didn’t use his phone, they had only just found out. A description of the house was given – inaccurately.nnI was told he had knocked but no-one was there – odd as I have a door bell and was sitting looking out.nnApparently, he had pointed out where he had delivered it to when he got back so I asked for a google earth picture. I was told that would be organized. It never came.nnMeanwhile, I did get a refund, but little consolation.nnNot much help though for mid-afternoon on Christmas eve when I had needed the stuff for the evening meal.nnSo that was my Christmas eve – all my plans messed up for the day Including what I had planned for dinner.nnSerious issue with the Watts farm delivery department. I would hesitate to ever use or recommend – despite the produce being pretty good apart from the basil which was already slimy on arrival.
Watts Farms have never let us down in the last six weeks of lockdown. Always there. Enough to choose from there growing online selection with plenty of fresh vegetables, bakery and meat from Hepburns with nice little touches. The wine, spirits and beer is more than enough to choose from for those added extras. Good work keep it up
Got Christmas tree on 4 December which it was lovely lasted 2 weeks yes I water it had my heating on low. Sent email got one back as customers who just shop with you for 1st time never again would I get Real Christmas tree again. I work in retail if this one off my customers tree we would give full refund.
Fresh means fresh for both fruit and veg including cooking apples not seen in supermarket. Delivery was good and driver extremely helpful friendly and polite. Will definitely be ordering again and recommending watts farm. Thank you to all involved getting this to me who is extremely impressed and pleased
Will never order from them again. Items missing and other items half rotten. Called customer service and was told to send email with pictures, no response to email. No refund so far. Avoid!
