Really really disappointed on the behalf of one of my best friends. She has had Hodgkin's lymphoma and thyroid cancer. Which lets face it you didnt read her blood test results correctly and told her she was fine!!! She found a lump in her neck last week. 3 times she has put in an urgent appointment form only to he told there's none available! Absolutely disgraceful given her previous history. You could be putting off much needed medical care not to mention her mental health. I hope you never have to go through the worry and fear of finding something like this after having cancer in 2 places previously!!
I’m really unhappy with Watton Medical Practice, As of writing this review my 26 year old Daughter is in hospital unconscious after trying to take her own life. The absolute lack of care from the doctors is appalling. My Daughter has Autism & ADHD and has been really struggling with there mental health due to the challenges in managing stress & high blood pressure caused by the consequences of untreated ADHD which is making her chronically sick. The Doctor promised to write to Psychiatry UK to resolve issue that arises after her Diagnosis of ADHD in which the Medical Practice took several months to address the blood pressure issues often cancelling doctor appointment last minute, rescheduling appointments without informing her making it look like she is deliberately missing appointments and wasting there time. The issue here is that she has done everything the doctors have told her to do even getting the Adult Mental Health Team involved who have said that she is too complicated too treat until she has been treated with the ADHD medication. The only issue is that Psychiatry UK are claiming she disengaged with them when in fact she was regularly updated them weekly with the online portal about waiting on doctors appointments and subsequent hospital appointment which they have claimed as her disengaging and not dealing with blood pressure issues which means she can’t access the Tritiation Team which means she can’t access the ADHD medication. She has gone back to the doctors frequently to be sent in to a unresolvable cycle and I have been by her side the last 7 appointments. We have even asked if we can access the ADHD services in Norfolk tritiation team and on 3 accounts the Medical Practice have wrongly sent referrals for an Autism Assessment instead, She already has a formal Autism Diagnosis. We have been struggling the last 3 years to resolve this issue. On top of the ADHD issue is she has had multiple blood tests, I mean in excess of 9 at the medical practice and none of the tests results have comeback in the last year and we have discovered today that she is incredibly low on vitamin B12 and B2
Appointment requested given same day with. Kezie Wilkinson who gave me a thorough professional examination diagnosed my problem issued me with a prescription for antibiotics to collect that evening, first class treatment with excellent people skills .
Very quick, same day appointment, all good amd 5* were ut nit forbthe frosty greeting from a stern faced receptionist, i guess we all have off days though !
I was bitten by a dog yesterday. Went into the surgery to enquire about a tetanus injection. The receptionist dealt with my request promptly and efficiently. She managed to find a nurse who gave me the injection straight away. Excellent service. Thank you bothnn.
