Excellent service, ordered 3 delivery’s for separate properties, beat all other suppliers in time scale delivery and price.
Shocking Service. We have been clients of Watson Fuels for 'quite a few years' and 10 days ago we ordered a top up of home fuel, we had a bit to tide us over for about 2 weeks. First off when I asked the price, the girl said she was too busy to tell me?! Um so Im not allowed to know the cost of my purhase????? Odd I requested notification of pricing, and I did get an email an hour later giving me the informaiton with also stated delivery on the 10th, but may be subject to CHANGE note the word CHANGE NOT CANCELLED today on the 14th we still did not have a delivery. I rang, 8.07am waited 35 mins finally got through to customer services, had to go on hold and then he came back and said that they didnt know why it was not delivered. I asked why no one had rang, 'oh we dont do that'. So they cancel the order but dont notify their customer. Im on account, so they are VERY happy to take my money each month, but they are not prepared to ring me and advise WHY there was no delivery. I can only assume they will be happy to continue taking my monthly payments though. I had to be 'forceful' and demand a reson why, I have now had a message stating the issue.... which I was not aware of, but can get recified. Sad to see that a company who use to have great customer service, now doesnt give a 's*!t' about their customers, including loyal clients who pay on account, there have been times when they have been happy to hold hundreds of my pounds in their account! so its not like Im a difficult customer for them. UPDATE: Today, 2 days following on, I have had the tank inspected....no cracks can be found!!! They have taken photographic evidence for me.
Once very good and now utterly utterly useless. Don't use them. Two weeks and two promises but no invoice. Unbelievably long waits on the phone and the local office has been closed! I am recording this here as once again they have promised a bill today Dan. I bet it doesn't turn up.
Placed an order, given a delivery date two weeks away in April? agreed to set up direct debit and was told someone would phone me back to do that. They never did. I phoned them a week later and eventually arranged it and was told delivery date still ok - important as oil now getting low. Oil not delivered. Phoned again next day and told it would arrive that day. Oil not delivered. Phoned again next day and told it would arrive that day. Oil still not delivered. Phoned yet again this morning and told it would arrive today. We’ll see. An appalling service. As soon as I have paid for this delivery I will cancel the direct debit and go somewhere else - though where? All these oil companies seem equally bad. Who runs them? Such incompetence seems ever more prevalent. Oh, and today we have no heating or hot water.
I had to order elsewhere, despite being a loyal customer. Tried calling for half an hour and was kept on hold. I hope they sort their problems out as the service has been good in the past.
First class delivery service …..
I have been dealing with Watsons fo 2 years and have found them to be very good, the staff are always very helpful, friendly and polite.
Polite and pleasant to deal with family firm.
